Join us for our traditional Crowning of Miss German-America, Queen of the 2013 Steuben Parade and her court of Princesses, Junior Princesses and Junior General. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere at this first highlight of the upcoming parade season, and meet our contestants during on-stage interviews. Audience members can participate in the vote.

Bus trip to Washington, DC
Join us for a bus trip to RFK Stadium in the Nation´s Capital, where the Men´s National Team takes on Germany, pitting US Coach Jürgen Klinsmann against his former assistant coach, Germany´s Jogi Löw. We are currently arranging for a special VIP package including a Meet & Greet. Further details will be posted soon.
A VISIT TO STEUBEN´S CABIN AND GRAVESITE

Bus Trip to Upstate New York
Join us for a bus trip to Oneida County, where we will visit the old cabin and memorial of General Baron Friedrich von Steuben, namesake of the parade and one of the most significant German-Americans in history. Steuben expert and site custodian Nancy Demyttenare will give a private tour of the cabin and estate. We are currently working on the full program and accommodation. More info will be posted soon.
STEUBEN PARADE WELCOME CEREMONY

Location: Foley Square Park, Manhattan
Steuben Parade weekend starts off will a traditional Welcome Ceremony for our groups from overseas. More than 20 bands, dance groups and Karneval societies have signed up from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They will be welcomed by members of the New York City Council and the Steuben Parade Committee. Many groups are expected to perform, so join us to get a first preview of some highlights in the next day´s parade.
STEUBEN PARADE GALA
Friday, September 20th, 7 pm
Location: Grand Ballroom of the New York Hilton, 1336 Ave of the Americas
With only hours to go until the parade marches off, join us when we introduce our Grand Marshals at this exclusive black-tie Gala at the New York Hilton. Many dignitaries from Germany and the United States will attend, as will delegations from all participating groups in the parade - many in their regional "Tracht". The Gala includes a Cocktail Hour, four-course Dinner, and great entertainment. Highlights include a performance of the traditional Schäfflertanz bei the visiting TV Landau.

STEUBEN PARADE MASS
Saturday, September 21st, 9 am
Location: St. Patrick´s Cathedral, Manhattan
Join us for a special mass celebrating German-American friendship. His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan, will preside over a mass in New York City´s most majestic church, which is traditionally filled by hundreds of Steuben Parade attendees in full Tracht, Costume or Uniform. Arrive early for a special presentation and the march-in off the German-American organizations presenting their colors.
THE 56th GERMAN-AMERICAN STEUBEN PARADE

The highlight of German-American festival season: Line up on Fifth Avenue to cheer for hundreds of groups, thousands of marchers, musicians, dancers and marksmen. Led by our Grand Marshals, the most colorful parade in New York City brings together a variety of groups - from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and all over the United States - that shows the multifaceted spirit of German-American Friendship.

STEUBEN PARADE OKTOBERFEST

Location: Rumsey Playfield (Summer Stage), Central Park, Manhattan
This is as close to Munich as you can get in New York… join us for New York´s largest Oktoberfest, featuring only German brews plus the best German-American entertainment on the big stage. Highlights include the 4th running of the US Championship in Masskrugstemmen presented by Hofbräu.
