In the year of its 50th Anniversary, the German-American Steuben Parade of New York will be lead by two elder statesmen, who stand for the German-American friendship like no other: Former US secretary of state, Dr. Henry Kissinger, will be the Grand Marshal, and former German chancellor, Dr. Helmut Kohl, will be the Guest of Honor when the German-American Steuben Parade marches up Manhattan’s posh Fifth Avenue on Saturday, September 15, 2007.
